(6.66) If I lose the due process hearing, can I do anything?

Both sides have the right to go to court to appeal the due process ALJ’s decision. Any appeal to court must be filed within 90 calendar days of receipt of the administrative hearing decision. [34 C.F.R. Sec. 300.514; Cal. Ed. Code Sec. 56505(k).] Although you have a right to represent yourself and your child in court, in most cases, you should not go to court without an attorney.[Winkelman v.ParamaCity School Dist., 550 U.S. 516, 533 (2007).]
