If the IEP team placed your child at a non-religious, non-public school (NPS), the district is obligated to ensure that the NPS provides the child with the appropriate related services as written in the child’s IEP.[1] If the NPS cannot provide the services, the district must make the services available to your child. This may require delivery of services at the NPS site.
