Yes, if necessary to benefit from special education. These psychological services are available to students: 

1. Planning, implementing and managing a program of psychological services for a special education student; 
2. Counseling provided by a credentialed or licensed psychologist or other qualified personnel; 
3. Consultation services to students, and other school personnel.^[1]

Other mental health services such as “residential placement” can also be provided.^[2]
