Yes, when placed in juvenile detention, the juvenile court school must hold a transfer IEP meeting within 30 days.^[1]  IEP meetings can also be called on an as-needed basis by the parent/guardian/other education rights holder. The school must hold an IEP meeting within 30 days of the request.^[2]
