While your child is at home, the school district in which you reside is responsible for providing individual instruction.  If your child is hospitalized in a hospital within your district of residence, that same district will be responsible for individual instruction.  If your child is hospitalized in a hospital outside your district of residence, the district in which the hospital is located is responsible for instruction.  [Cal.
