The due process hearing is often held via video conference or at the district office. It must be at a time and place that is convenient for you and your child.[1] You will not necessarily be consulted by OAH before a hearing date is assigned. If you object to the location and/or hearing date, you should contact OAH or the assigned ALJ to change the location or date. This is usually done at a pre-hearing conference.
